I agree with Greg I would participate more if we had some type of
organizational structure. The three meetings I've been to are
interesting but how people choose to install what on what hardware gets
a little old after a while. Now before you guy's decide to tie me up and
light me on fire I'm not saying we should become NUGA I just think we
could do a lot more as an organization if we branched out from just
hacking on ours and our friends boxes.

I have decided that I would step forward and become a candidate for
President of AKLUG. Brief platform follows :-)

AKLUG.org is a recognized name advocating for GNU/Linux (aka Linux). I
believe we need to continue to be an advocate. We need to offer an
organizational structure that benefits our users and provides access to
Linux for the community at large. The first step is having a President
to facilitate communication & action.
