check you /etc/mail/access file and see if localhost or the loopback de=
vice=20
is there 127.0.0.1 , if so try putting you IP address in there as well =
if=20
your running one... make sure you do a makemap hash on the file to crea=
te=20
the access database file... you might also list your machine in the =20
ect/host.allow file but I don't think sendmail uses that over access.d=
