Yes, or you can put "modprobe sb" in /etc/rc/d/rc.local. both will work.

In Slack, modules that are loaded at boot are in /etc/rc.d/rc.modules
the only thing I can find in RedHat 8 is /etc/modules.conf
Is this the same thing?
The idea behind this is to add the module for my sound card
sndconfig isn't detecting it, but if I load them manually ( modprobe sb )
it works great.
