Tyshall,
  I must take a moment to congratulate on your recent purchase of the =
finest OS that has ever been offered to the public! Next I must say that =
the primary differences between the two has to do with a lot of the =
superficial stuff, and the way FreeBSD has a more secured kernel. BSD's =
in general are more closely related to their ancestor UNIX, while the =
Linux distros have been made more "mainstream" if you will. As in =
offering the latest drivers for a multitude of newer devices. I'm sure =
I'll hear it about this, but I find my FreeBSD 4.5 stable to be exactly =
as the name implies, STABLE! Granted, I don't plug in a whole lot of =
gizmos, but it runs, and in reality that's whets important.

I recently purchased FreeBSD 4.7 on e-bay(waiting for the iso downloads =
on=20
this dial-up modem was killing me) and have yet to receive it in the =
mail.
I have Slackware Linux 8.1 (my favorite linux distro so far) in my =
possesion=20
and was wondering what some differences between the two are. I have =
done=20
quite a bit of research on the matter but I would appreciate any =
personal=20
oppinions.

Also: I have been messing aroun with a small game in which you attempt =
to=20
convince as many people as possible to go to a special link that is=20
generated for your character. So... Anyone wanna go to mine? The =
process=20
of giving me a point only takes as long as the loading time of the page. =
