That is a small point with Webmin. It makes it easy to administer
servers, but you still have to know what you're doing. Webmin will
happily let you put garbage values in many of the boxes. Many Webmin
users (myself included) don't quite grok the server & you end up with an
easy to configure but broken server.

For the specific case of Samba, it is better to use SWAT. SWAT has a
very comprehensive online help file for every option. It isn't quite as
simple to get up and running, but it helps a great deal in getting Samba
up and running.

Samba books:

"Samba Essentials for Windows Administrators" (ISBN: 0130409421)

Plus the obligatory O'Reilly book (although a bit dated, from 1999):

"Using Samba" (ISBN: 1565924495)

Cheers,

James
