I believe that Slack's printer config tool of choice is apsfilter. Look in /usr/lib/apsfilter/ for the setup program, and /usr/doc/apsfilter-[version number] for documentation.

However my lifetime experience with Slack is a single 8.0 installation that I replaced with OpenBSD about a half hour later, so YMMV. :)
