I assume you arl talking about the Shuttle ss40G at

http://www.viahardware.com/ss40g_1.shtm

Its nice but I like the Arprotek e-Cube better even if it is a Pentium
machine

http://www.viahardware.com/cfs868_1.shtm

It's go thte AGP slot and a cool handle making it a better lan party
machine. The only thing missing is the firewire. It even supports
ATA/133.

From the faq I got the impression that no SuSE, Caldera and whoever's
distrobutions will not disapper nor will they all merge to gether to form
one big distrobution with the best features of each. No this is more
along the lines of a LSB type organization where they all agree to use a
single standard base for thier various Distros. I imagine they will
standarize where they put the config files, and the names of such files,
and other various file location, what compilers and make files they use
and the various other details that make each of their Distros Special.
But most of all they want to be able to to got to hardware manufactures
and say that if your systems are United Linux Certified than it will be
certified for every Distrobution in the United Linux Consortium.
