I just finished upgrading my 7.2 box to 7.3. It took a total of 30 minutes.
I did have to recompile the vmware modules with the new kernel but the
vmware-config.pl script takes care of that nicely.

Vmware seems a little faster (I think X got some good improvements for my
video card) and I can switch between X and VMware without slowdown
(occasionally it would be slow under 7.2)

All-in-all it was a good upgrade.
