ok .. i have a better example of the problem im having .. this is happening
right now .. i have aolserver, aolserver-doc .. ok .. i gointo dselect and
go to remove this file and i get this exact error

Removing aolserver ...
ls: *.tcl: No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing aolserver (--remove):
subprocess pre-removal script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
  aolserver
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
Some errors occurred while unpacking. I'm going to condfigure the packages
tht were installed. This may result in duplicate errors or errors caused by
missing dependencies. This is OK, only the errors above this message are
important. Please fix them and run [I]nstall again
Press enter to continue.

installation script returned error exit status 100.
Press <enter> to continue

thats it .. (i typed this out by hand so 'scuse mispelling) ..
any ideas...?
