Actually, this is not a problem because Yast2 is cute; the UI is modular
(at least since SuSE 7.3 and I believe as far back as 7.1..). It actually
has a curses based interface that it uses if the X environment is not
available, which literally allows you to do everything that you can do
with the X-gui. You should be able to try it on any machine you have
loaded.. just switch to a non-xdm mode and type 'yast2' from the console.
