My impression was that APULUG was 'officially' started by Donovan to
give AKLUG a place to hold an Installfest. A few of us managed to
stretch it out into a regular meeting - make that 'get together'. There
was never more than 1 APU student that I was aware of involved at any
one time. First Donovan then Asheem(?).

Asheem made a couple minor attempts at getting more students involved,
but I think he had to many things going on to be able to spend any time
on it.

I don't know that APULUG was ever intended to be an actual Lug. It was
more like other people have bowling night, we had Linux night.
