i still prefer the shuttle sv24 to this board to use for an everyday
system. the sv24 can use 1GHz pIII's though i've heard people running
the 1.13GHz chip without problems. this board does have a few
advantages, namely the second ide controller. though, with the size of
ide drives now, i don't see that you'd need a second hard drive. if you
were to use it for extra cd/dvd roms, the system wouldn't exactly be
mini after too long.

the thing that might make me get one would be the on-board 8-32MB flash
memory. with a proper slackware installation you could forego the hard
disk all together and make an even smaller system out of it.

i'll actually have to see what manufacturers come up with from this
concept board. could be interesting...
