My laptop has the ability to do dual displays because it has a GeForce2 Go
chip with Twinview. Basically, I can output to a TV via RCA jack, a digital
flat screen, or an analog monitor and have it either clone, span vertical or
span horizontal.

I assume a laptop with ATI's latest chip and HydraVision technology can do
the same as above.

The Gatway clunker laptops we have at work will do dual display also, but
only as a clone of the LCD screen via the docking station's vga out.
