The Granitecanyon setup does use an A record for the zone (or at least it's
on the zone record when I look at it). It seemed like a fairly
straightforward setup.

However I never did get my name resolving with the Granitecanyon DNS, and
set up on Zoneedit instead. My name wasn't live until Network Solutions
updated my record with the zoneedit DNS servers, then suddenly everything
worked.

I'm thinking that I must have done something wrong with the Granite Canyon
setup, however not being able to find ns2.granitecanyon.com anywhere made me
leery. If they're having growing problems it may have been just a case of
bad timing on my part.

Everything works fine now, and thanks for all of the offers of assistance!
I really do appreciate it.

Cheers,

James
