That works. I do this regularly as I have 6-8 machines on my LAN at any
one time, and only 2 monitors.

The only hiccup you might see is that ssh will not want to disconnect and
appear to hang. Just do an ~. to kill the ssh connection if it hangs.
This happens to me once every ~100 times I leave a running process on the
remote machine (usually a ./setiathome &) - in other words, not very
often.
