Hi list. I'm working on a bid for a community library, and I've got to
work content filtering into the quote. I.e., CIPA-style filtering where
it blocks all nasty Web pages, but allows the librarian to whitelist.
Does anybody have any advice/suggestions on that? I've heard of
DansGuardian, but never worked with it, and don't know how hard it is to
set up and support my own transparent proxy/filter that a librarian can
also use. I'm pretty sure also I could do this third party with
Barracuda, but I wasn't too eager as I didn't like their
customer/partner agreement terms.
