And for those who are curious...

Most agencies(DISA, DoD, NSA, etc) report compliance to the OMB. The 2002
FISA begot the "Information Assurance Automation Program
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Information_Security_Automation_Program>"
initiative who's standards are held by NIST <https://scap.nist.gov/>. All
that to say I would start studying SCAP/OpenSCAP for all things "Threat
Intelligence, Security and configuration management related. It is the
emerging Gov/Mil/Private standard.

I am seeing it's requirements everywhere.
