[aklug] Pidgin and gtalk file transfer

Is there anyone on the list who happens to already be using Pidgin with
Google Talk XMPP? I was looking at creating a Pidgin + gtalk + OTR setup
for the office, but before bothering with a test setup, I was curious if
Pidgin had ever implemented the send and receive file transfer
functionality for gtalk XMPP. All I see on the Internet is an ancient
enhancement request saying that it supposed to eventually get merged in.
