While using gpg from the commandline to decrypt files isn't that hard,
I wanted to make it a little easier for myself to be able to decrypt
files from the gui.
Since I use XFCE and thunar for my file manager, I was able to add a
custom action.
This is the command I used to do that:
xfce4-terminal -e "gpg -o %n.decrypted -d %f"
I found this and others here:
http://docs.xfce.org/xfce/thunar/custom-actions
You also have to check the box that says "other files" in the
Appearance Conditions tab.
Hope this helps someone else.
