I found a very nice Acer S3 ultrabook really cheap, it came with Windows
8, and I do not blame the previous owner for pawning it. It runs Ubuntu
great, totally different machine. I installed under the Legacy bios
after a few trys, then came up with this link.

Not sure it will help you, but has some good info. I am getting ready to
