Thanks Marc, let me just add that I have run hosting and design servers for
15yrs, and while this is not the main thrust of my business now it was a
large part in the past. I have a professional opinion, and I have expressed
it to the client. What I would like is indepentend opinions from industry
peers with no personal bias or commercial interest in the outcome... good
ol' fashioned professional opinion.

If there is a technological reason to REQUIRE the domain transfer, I would
like to know exactly what they are. However, this is not simply a matter of
convenience for the developer.
