Heh heh. My flame post was already quite long, so I didn't add the
caveat: "But these people probably don't know Emacs as well as I know
Vim, so it wasn't a fair fight." That's probably true. But the point of
my last post wasn't "Vim is a bad editor" (which I never said). The
point was that Emacs IS a good editor (contrary to the jokes made by the
people who don't use it.)

Now, I think it might be pretty fun to have some kind of competition
between our best Emacs guru and our best Vim guru, and see who is
faster. Though, creating a set of non-biased challenges might be difficult.

My crack about "does anybody still use Vim" was rather tongue-in-cheek,
because Vim is still a more popular editor choice than Emacs, according
to the polls I have seen. (Though, I doubt somewhat the reliability of
those polls, owing to method and location.)
