Nice! I never heard of i3wm-which has been one of those dragons I've been
trying to slay in x. I use screen on my P3's and it is efficient-just a
flick o the keyboard and I had alpine, nano, and mplayer right there for my
viewing pleasure.

It stood to reason I could do the same with x. I bljorked my #! Statler
install twice a couple years ago while trying to get xmonad to play nice
with Openbox. I finally made the face-palm permanent and settled down with
xfce-terminal and screen within openbox.

And that is what I was looking for! Efficient (low resources and doesn't
get in the way) with oob use. I'm warming up virtualbox as we speak. :)
