It's that time of year to clean out the man-cave! So here is what I have;
1) Dell OptiplexGX240
P4 1.8Ghz
1Gb Mem 2X512 SDRAM (Max)
ATI dual monitor VGA card and dual cable
CD-drive
Floppy
******** NO HARD DRIVE (uses IDE)
This box works great but I had some
sensitive info on the 160Gb HD so it has to stay sorry.
2) Dell OptiplexGX240
P4 1.8Ghz
********No Ram (not hard to find PC133
SDRAM)
********No Video Card (BUT if you want it I
will throw in an old AGP Viper VGA)
********No Hard Drive (IDE drive was removed
by State before it was surplused)
CD-drive
Floppy
This box worked great but I used the parts
missing for a friends machine.
3) IBM i-Series eServer 9406 E1
This is a really heavy duty tower case
Has no hard drives but will hold six SCSI internally
I picked this up at a state of Alaska auction and just haven't had time to
either restore it (No idea why I would but...maybe someone out there has the
time or the inclination) or Mod it into something
Everything else appears ok MB, Mem, PS and three
add-on cards ECS, IOP/IOA, IOA
4) HP Photosmart 1100 printer (excellent shape) low print count, has
some cool features
Has power and USB and I might even find the manual and drivers (will work
with Linux)
5) HP SCANJET ADF Scanner (low mileage)
Has power and USB and I might even find the manual and drivers. Don't know
if it will work with Linux as I replaced it with a scanner/printer before I
got around to using a scanner with Linux.
So if anyone is interested let me know directly. While I know the LUG isn't
used as a classified ad place I should mention that I am planning to acquire
a new laptop and I currently have two laptops which will soon go on Craigs
list so feel free to ask if you care.
