[aklug] GCI Ovation USB Modem mc547

Stan Long gave away one of our donated computers to someone in the Mat-Su
who is attempting to use this device for his network access. It is
advirtised to work with Windows, MAC, & Linux2.6.
I have never seen one & I haven't been able to find a whole lot about it,
but as near as I can tell, it should be plug-n-play w/ the 2.6 kernel &
usb_modeswitch installed, but it's not playing.

Has anyone here go some familiarity with this thing to where they can give
us some pointers?
