Joshua,
CC'd this back to the list as I could use a little ibput form there,

Hooked up with your buddy Joel at our Friday night session. Got his
wireless working easily. Almost a no-brainer compiling the Realtek driver.
Only had to compile as the LTS version of Ubuntu he has installed doesn't
have quite new enough drivers.

Wired is another story. Worked on that for probably 2 hours. Could not get
anything to admit the card was even present beyond lspci and the like.

The Laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L755. Network interface is an Atheros
ar8152 v2.0. Depending on what you read, the proper driver is either the
atl1c or atl1e. I have tried both and neither wants to claim it. No
recognithion whatsoeverr.

Anybody have ant pointers?

Jim /g
