Our Mini is a 1st generation PowerPC unit and I believe it only has 2G
of RAM. It's the kids default workstation and for that use it's perfect.
Hackintosh? It's a generic term for a non-Apple PC that has been made
to run OS X. This is pretty trivial given the correct hardware
selection. In a nutshell the trick is using a bootloader that emulates
the Apple EFI environment.
