[aklug] zoneminder can't find camera?

I'm wondering if anyone here is using zoneminder on Ubuntu 11.04
desktop, or could help me with it. As far as I can tell, it is
installed properly (I can see the console when I point my browser to
it), but it can't find my Logitech quickcam, even though other programs
like xawtv & cheese can see it ok.
This tells me that uvcvideo is working and that apache and mysql are
working. I've tried changing every setting I can think of, searched
ubuntu and zoneminder forums and find that others have had the same
problem, but have not found any answer that works.

zmu -d /dev/video0 -q -v returns:
