I use fluxbox and gnome. I like fluxbox better, but have few
complaints about gnome. I use gnome-terminal on fluxbox. No
incompatibilites that I can see.
The performance difference in favor of fluxbox is more marked on
my netbooks.
I didn't leave KDE, KDE left me.
Whatever works is da bomb.
