Maemo has been pretty solid, and the community keeps writing and
updating the apps so I'm happy. I can get root on my device and do all
sorts of neat stuff that nobody else (outside this list) would want to
do, so I'm still glad I have it.
That being said, I've just encountered the n900 "micro-usb becomes
detached from the mobo" problem and am forced to use an external battery
charger and rotate two batteries to use it for a problem Nokia at one
point acknowledged as a manufacturing defect and then decided was the
user's problem.
My phone's hostname is now "NokiaEatsMyBalls," which makes it really
easy to find in a wifi search :-) http://xkcd.com/910/
