Of the sample of people I know that work at Google.. they wouldn't
break code licenses without working with the developer to establish
new terms if allowed by the license.

There are far too many very smart people that got their fundamental
computer skills from Linux and other FOSS operating systems and
tools.. there would be a whistle blower almost immediately if a team
attempted to do this.

Remember, there is no Google.. just a bunch of people on a bunch of
different teams in a bunch of different buildings. Only a handful of
teams even care about a specific project. There is no unified vision
to rip off FOSS. They don't hold seminars where they fist pump to GPL
violations.

Report violations.

If there was a problem - yo - they will solve it.

As for the tools, apis, etc... that Google teams supply us and do
their best to unify with your preferences. There's a good reason they
attempt to cookie your lights out. User experience - tracking -
making free tools stay free by utilizing them for research on internal
projects. Easily done when your projects are massively attractive and
easy to use. I have to use the google maps api v3 on many of my
projects when interacting with geospatial data and as much as it can
be a pain in the butt at times it can also be an amazing time saver.
It's really up to me to put that on my site, up to Alaska Air, etc...
