I agree. Though I still don't know what he was referring to.

With luck, he'll re-post his question in a little less distro-specific
way where we can get a handle on his question.

Then again, maybe a smart Ubuntu user knew exactly what the problem is
and is assisting wo/ our wise-acre remarks.
