Been using Xmonad on my two-screen display at home, and I've been loving
it. As I mentioned earlier, it is fully Xinerama aware, so it doesn't
get confused by the multiple displays. I had VLC playing a music video,
a few remotes shells following my server logs, and Firefox opened up to
my blog site, and it was all so simple and easy to manage.

My biggest leap today was when I learned that Xmonad can be used as a
drop-in replacement for Gnome's Metacity. All I had to do is create one
small file and run a gconf command, and suddenly I had a full-fledged
Gnome desktop plus tiling windows management. This was convenient
because then I was able to keep using the keyboard shortcuts, status
bar, and other integrated apps I had configured under Gnome.

Some time this week I'm going to try to put some screen shots on my site.
