Sony, Apple, Google, and most of them are doing everything the can to keep people modifying their systems. HP just donated a new server to the main group hacking on WebOS, gratis. Not a slouch either - HP Proliant DL385 2u server with 32 gigs of RAM and 8 terabytes of disk space.
