This was the problem, but I have it fixed now. I was configuring my
postfix server to use SMTP AUTH, I inadvertently set it so that /all/
smtp clients had to use TLS encryption, just to drop off mail at my
server. Apparently this is bad, because I couldn't receive mail from
anyone for about two days before I figured out what was going on.
