[aklug] Roots mail isn't working

I'm trying to have root mail sent to an outside email address. My mail
is hosted at google.

Here's what I have.
1. Ubuntu server 10.04
2. Postfix
3. Aliases file with root: user@example.com

That should work but it doesn't. Mail gets sent to the spam folder.
Looks like google is searching for the "root" account.

Any suggestions?

Note:
mail -s "awesome email" user@example.com

Works like it should.
