Thanks for the book titles guys, but I'm still looking for a class lol. I have
books, but I can't seem to wrap my head around a couple of subjects: OOP and
regular expressions. I'm just sort of toying with the idea that an actual class,
with a real instructor, might help me understand better. I know I need to paper
book, but I'm also starting to think I need an actual instructor led class. I
was just thinking somebody in here migh have come across one somewhere, so why
reinvent the wheel if ya don't need to.

Thanks!

You'll be good to get PHP Design Patterns from the creators of the PHP
magazine. Then there is a bible sized PHP v5 boat anchor that will help.
I strongly recommend going into.it with OOP in mind.

Look at Zend Framework and Kohana Framework

Subject: [aklug] PHP class?
To: "aklug" <aklug@aklug.org>

I've been tinkering with PHP for years now, and would like to take a class in
it. Anybody know of any online classes that are not solely online? I need a
physical paper book to read, but the rest I can handle being online. If it don't

offer a physical paper book though(meaning no ebooks), it won't do me much good
I'm afraid. I'm too old school lol.

Thanks
