Mike,
I just went out and did an inventory...... here are the switches I
have; Don't think they are up to what you are looking for :-(

        1) Cisco ws-c-1900 old (qty 5) but one is definitely FUBAR'd
(rattles)
        2) Cisco ws-c-1912-a (qty 1) appears to be in good shape but is
10baseT
        3) Cisco ws-c-1924-a (qty 3) 2 appear to be in really good shape 1
so-so, still 10BaseT
        4) Cisco ws-c-2916-mxl (qty 1) has busted front plastic and
condition unknown
        5) Cisco ws-c-2924-xl (qty 1) condition appears almost pristine (may
have been in a clean datacenter)

If any of these are of interest to you let me know and I will find
out if they power up and work. I have no clue as to what they might be worth
as they were bonus material on the pallet. I was actually going for an IBM
iSeries server. Unfortunately I did not find out until I carted it all home
that it was a 9406-810 and there is no Linux ported to it :-(

So if you know any one who needs a nice 9406-810 without drives but
has an optional additional drive box.......
Or anyone interested in a really large IBM Powerware 9125 UPS (run
your neighborhood for an hour or so!)

Feel free to contact me and make my wife happy!!!

Dan

Subject: [aklug] Need a Cisco Managed Switch

I'm hoping someone here might have something like a 2950 that they'd be
willing
to sell.

I'm moving my noisy server into the garage and want a good quality layer 2
10/100 switch with preferrably 2 gig ports. I've had lots of problems in
the
past with the cheaper brands like Netgear, D-link, etc. so I'd like to stay
away from them.

So if any of you have a 2950 gathering dust, drop me a line off-list and I'd
be
happy to take it off your hands for whatever's a reasonable price.

Thanks,
Mike
