Well, I seem to have a broken Qube.

I decided to put Webmin on it before playing w/ the ttys thinking that
if I screwed up the tty stuff, it would give me an alternate way in.
Didn't work out so well.

Got webmin in and it seemed to be running OK. I was able to access the
webmin stuff over the network OK. I then let it alter rc.local to have
it start automatically on boot. This is the ONLY thing I let it do. It
just put in a line to do "/etc/webmin start" which is what I entered
from the command line to start webmin initially anyway. I then rebooted
to see that it was working OK.

It wasn't. Seems to stop or hang at the point where the little 2 line
display on the back of the Qube says it's running "local", which I
assume means rc.local. At least that seems to match up with what else is
displayed during boot. The second time I attempted to boot it, I let it
sit close to an hour. Nothing.

Is it possible it needs more memory to get past this? The box only has
32 MB of ram. It seemed to be running webmin OK before I restarted it.
It wasn't the fastest webserver I've ever seen, but it was getting by.
I'm wondering if during the boot process, it's getting stuff starting up
that uses more ram initializing things than after its up and running and
things settle down.

Any ideas?
