Thanks, I think I'll save this step for next Friday.

I have managed to get a few things working in my virtual box install.
dhclient is running and getting a network address from vboxnet0 that I
can see from a terminal on my laptop. I now seem to have basic user &
root accounts. I have a "wheel" user. I can ssh in as user and su to
root. ssh in as root is disabled, which is how I wanted it.

If I can translate all this OK to the Qube, I'll feel like I've
accomplished something.
