[aklug] On the subject of certifications...

What kind of Linux certifications can a guy get around here? And where
could he get them? (I live in Fairbanks). I remember TVC (now UAF
Community College, I guess) used to provide A+ testing, but that is
about all I know.

I can usually convince interviewers that I know Linux, but it would be
nice to have some certs to throw on a resumé. Right now, under my
current circumstances, paying for a certification isn't much of a
problem, but time needed for testing and location of testing are
critical issues.
