[aklug] Side note: Ruby coolness

While I'm e-mailing the list anyway, I want to take a moment to thank
whoever it was who originally introduced me to Ruby. (Mike, wasn't it?)
Ruby is an awesome language, and it has given me the most satisfying
experience of any language I've used so far. Of them all, it has been
the most fun, the cleanest, and the most productive.

I bought "Programming Ruby 1.9" (the PDF version) for $25 dollars at
www.pragprog.com. It's around 1000 pages long, but the language is real
easy to follow, and I'm learning a lot about the more powerful features
of Ruby.
