Just a warning: Replacing function calls and variables with boxes and
lines won't ultimately make the programming any more productive or less
complicated. It might be kind of fun at first to do little, pointless
programs, but once you begin dealing with real program logic, the messy
art will only get in the way.

I've never used Illumination, but I was into LabVIEW for a while.
Judging by the examples programs on the site, Illumination looks a lot
messier and less advanced than LabVIEW.
