Damien, I'm talking Fiber Channel here, not ethernet.

So, if I'm doing multipathing fiber channel, interconnecting two FC
switches allows a particular server the ability to use the paths on the
other switch, too. Yes, it means going through the other switch, but
the extra paths are still there.
