GCI offers the same Franklin, but a different model of Novatel. I have =
used the Franklin on my Ubuntu install, but it was a bit of a pain to =
get running when I first set it up. I still have it running, but it's =
still a bit of a hack (had to use unsupported tool builds off the web to =
get mine running if I remember correctly). I can't remember the exact =
process at this moment and don't have that laptop with me right now, but =
getting it working the first time was not elegant and now I have a =
script on that laptop, which performs all the proper jiggering with the =
card to get it online. With that said it does work and when it's online =
it performs fine.

My friend with a Novatel supplied by GCI (using Ubuntu) had no issues at =
all and uses his card constantly. It has been the only time that I've =
regretted purchasing the smaller card with built-in drivers. Your =
mileage may vary...
