Commercial customers will find it much easier to get IPv6 netblocks assigned.
We're working on some things for individual users. Hold on to your seats.

I do not represent GCI, but I investigated this just a month or two ago myself with them. The short answer is yes, GCI has ipv6 enabled on the backend, but the majority of their customers can't access it because the various vendors i.e. cable/DSL modems don't as yet support ipv6. So unless you have some fancy frame relay, T1, GigE connection directly to GCI's CNCC, you're up the creek right now. No idea on other ISPs in Alaska as the only offering where I live is GCI so that's all I investigated.

Leif - Care to enlighten the group? Anything I forgot or am incorrect about? :)

IPv6... The demand is only going to get higher......

Probably answer my question before I ask it.

Does GCI make available IPv6 /64 or /48 blocks to customers?

Do any Alaska ISPs?
