I got the Gentoo install image on a USB stick through unetbootin (which
works great, btw) and I have been going through the installation process
on the Mini 10v. Just finished configuring the kernel options and am
waiting for that to compile.

Interesting... I just noticed that, by default, the kernel is set to
optimize for size (-Os) instead of for speed (-O2). Kind of suprising --
I would thing most people would care more about performance than size. I
didn't hesitate long on switching that option. Just hope it fits inside
my 100MB boot partition...

Also thought I'd try a slightly lower interrupt timer frequency this
time at 300. (Usually set at 1000).
