I work as one of the student RPAs for ARSC (www.arsc.edu). The RPAs
mostly help the scientists and specialists with their own programming
projects, but the directors will usually allow us to spend a little bit
of time on our own pet projects if we can convince them it is good for
the development of science or technology.
