[aklug] First kernel compile successful! (So far...)

I was right about the dm-crypt issues - I just compiled those in
statically and I didn't have any trouble getting my drive decrypted.

The initrd man page didn't seem to say anything about how to create the
image. But with a little more research I found out that it is created with

 update-initramfs -c -k /kernel_version/

This info was in the mkinitramfs and update-initramfs man pages.
