Can ACPI be disabled after the fact? I'm running XP as a guest. Works
fine, but reclaiming a few more cpu cycles never hurts...

-- No it can't. You will need to reinstall Windows. But it is well worth it. On my PC, running a Windows XP guest with ACPI enabled takes about 15% of my CPU time. Without ACPI the XP guest only takes 2 to 3%. James --------- To unsubscribe, send email to <aklug-request@aklug.org> with 'unsubscribe' in the message body.Received on Sun Dec 28 10:04:18 2008
